About Luna Poumian
Luna Poumian is one of the most influential figures in oriental dance in Mexico and on the international scene. Originally from Mexico City, with a background in design, communication, and art direction, she has been immersed in movement and the performing arts since childhood. Her experience in ballet, jazz, contemporary dance, and aquatic arts led her to discover her true passion in 2007: Middle Eastern dance. Since then, she has built an exceptional career, becoming certified by Munique Neith, training with teachers from around the world, and performing with international companies such as Bellydance Evolution, where she was co-director, choreographer, and principal dancer. Founder of Casa Luna, director of BDExperience and Colectivo Lunar, Luna has shared her art, technique, and vision across continents, establishing herself as a well-rounded artist and a profoundly inspiring teacher.
